The storm came in overnight. Mostly snow with some periods of sleet, totaling about 5 inches. I headed to the barn early to feed hay and 1/2 rations of grain. More hay and the rest of grain tonight. I spent most of the day organizing the kitchen. A pot of chili simmering on the stove and the fireplace burning made for a lovely quiet day.
