Weeding Away

 My biggest chore today was to try and find the onions. They have gotten extremely weedy. We have had just a little rain and I hoped the ground was damp enough for easy pulling. 

I put our weekly pot of beans in the crockpot, got morning chores done and started. 2 1/2 hours later I had all but 2/3 of one row done. They look pretty good but we could sure use some more rain! 

It was time for afternoon chores. Critters tended and herb beds watered and now time to finish up supper. To go with the beans I was making slaw and cowboy candy and cheddar cornbread.
